Acid stained floors are very easy to maintain, we finish them with epoxy and polyurethane in exterior floors. This eliminates the need of removing and reapplying waxes. Acid stain wont wear off and is UV stable, and when properly done when done properly wont chip, peel, discolor, or fade. Acid-based stains are translucent, color produced will depend on color or age of substrate its applied on. This creates the color variation we get from acid stain wich makes every floor different from each other even if the same color is applied. All of our stained floors are finished with a polyurethane sealer. It is enviromentally friendly because it is an organic product thus making it a green product. Polyurethane is twice as thick as regular floor sealers, giving you twice the mileage as the other products. Maintenance on this finish is nearly null and also has color enhancing properties.
